James Shean

Session Facilitator

James has always had a passion for music but waited until he was 13 until he decided to pick up a guitar. James is very open-minded when it comes to music. He listens to and plays all kinds of styles and genres, anything from 50’s rock ‘n’ roll to the present day pop, although his favourite styles are funk, soul, motown and blues.

James graduated from the University of Essex, where he studied on a BA (hons) in popular music. Since graduating, he is involved with several music projects playing guitar, bass and co-writing original material. As well as performing, James also enjoys teaching the guitar, bass and ukulele.
